Dr. Waldman is originally from Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Texas Tech University. He then decided to go on to medical school. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine in 1982. After completing his residence, Dr. Waldman had his own private practice in Texas from 1985 – 2003. He then moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he practiced urgent care medicine until his recent move to Nebraska in March, 2014.
Dr. Waldman and his wife, Barbara, decided to move to Nebraska because they were looking for a rural community to raise and breed horses. Thayer County appealed to them because it would allow him to continue to practice medicine while enjoying country living. They purchased an acreage near Hebron where he and Barb plan to settle and raise their 15 horses.
Dr. Waldman has more than 28 years experience in family medicine. At Thayer County Health Services, he sees patients at the Hebron Clinic, Davenport Clinic, Bruning Clinic, Parkview Haven Nursing Home, Blue Valley Care Home and Blue Valley Nursing Home.
