Mission Statement
To actively raise funds to support Thayer County Health Services in proving high quality compassionate care close to home. We will accomplish this by educating and inspiring individuals, businesses and organizations to financially support their mission to improve the overall health of our region.
Who We Are…
The Foundation for Thayer County Health Services was organized on September 20, 1983 by a group of nine Thayer County volunteer men and women who were determined to help the hospital (Thayer County Health Services) give quality care to the under-served population of both urban and rural Thayer County. The Foundation is governed by a board of 16 members who meet every other month to plan their fundraising events. All funds are used to help purchase needed new hospital equipment and support the hospital in order that the quality of care is maintained and improved.
The Foundation for Thayer County Health Services is a 501(c)(3) organization.
