Thayer County Health Services joins statewide COVID-19 messaging effort
Thayer County Health Services recently joined forces with the Nebraska Hospital Association and Nebraska Healthcare Marketers to support a statewide awareness effort to aid in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in Nebraska.
As cases and hospitalizations continue to surge in nearly every part of the state, our organizations saw the need to communicate to Nebraskans ways to prevent the spread and thus, reduce the numbers of individuals needing hospitalization as a result.
We’re in this Together, Nebraska, is the primary message of the initiative that will leverage the strength of Nebraska pride and helping each other. The campaign features health care professionals and targeted messaging on how wearing masks, washing hands and avoiding the 3 Cs (crowded places, close contacts and confined spaces) can help slow the spread of COVID-19.
“This campaign is truly one of a kind, because for the first time in a very long time, if ever, has nearly every Nebraska healthcare organization launched the same marketing campaign towards the same goal. The purpose of this effort is to convey a unified approach in all of our efforts to provide education and lead the fight against COVID-19,” said Kassi Krupicka, MPA, Marketing Director, “We have staff on the front lines who are working tirelessly to keep our community healthy and safe, and now we need our community to do their part to keep our staff, their friends and family, healthy and safe. We need everyone to come together to reduce the spread of this deadly virus and fight it as one team.”
Nebraska Healthcare Marketers and the Nebraska Hospital Association created the COVID-19 Awareness campaign to enable healthcare marketers to easily share credible information with key audiences. The messaging focuses on Nebraska pride and our state’s willingness to support one another with an overall theme of: We’re in This Together, Nebraska.
