Dr. Miller is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where he completed his undergraduate studies. He went on to earn his medical degree and his PhD in molecular biology from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Dr. Miller then moved to Chicago, Illinois where he completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals.
Upon completing his education, Dr. Miller joined the BryanLGH Heart Institute in July 2003. Dr. Miller currently serves as BHI’s Director of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Miller has a specialty interest in nuclear cardiology and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association and the American Heart Association.
Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife Kathryn and their three daughters, Olivia, Sophie and Caroline.
