Meet Our Medical Specialists

Our medical staff consists of four physicians, one physician assistant, one nurse practitioner, and one behavioral health councilor. Our staff members provide an array of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services. In addition, over 20 visiting physicians provide specialized services for our patients.

We are proud to recognize our June Employee of the Month, Jen Wisnieski. From day one, this team member has been a standout in terms of her commitment to excellence, demonstrating not only an unparalleled work ethic but also a deep compassion for our patients. Whether it’s staying late to ensure all patient needs are met, offering guidance to team members during challenging situations, or volunteering to take on extra responsibilities, Jen shows time and time again that she is dedicated to both the success of our team and the well-being of our patients. Jen’s approachability, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand, whether it’s through assisting with complex patient care or helping colleagues navigate through tough tasks, make her a true asset to our team. Congratulations Jen! ... See MoreSee Less

At Thayer County Health Services, we are proud to have a Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC). This group is made up of community members who meet with hospital staff to share ideas and provide feedback to help improve the patient experience. Our council members offer valuable insight into the needs of patients and their families so we can continue to grow and improve our care. We’re currently looking to add a few more voices to our PFAC! The council meets once each quarter and offers a meaningful way for you to help shape the future of healthcare in our community by sharing your own experiences—or those you've heard from others.Meet Deb Miller, one of our current PFAC members. Here’s what she had to say about her time on the council: “I have served on the Patient Family Advisory Council since March 2021. I enjoy learning about the growing access to services offered at TCHS, seeing the progressive nature of our health care system, and sharing feedback based on personal experiences. I consider myself an advocate for local health care, and I am very proud of the outstanding facilities and staff we have in Thayer County.”If Deb’s experience resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!
